The Visitor Economy Summit will take place in beautiful Armidale in the Northern Tablelands of NSW

  • This year’s Visitor Economy Summit, hosted by Destination Country and Outback NSW (DNCO), will take place on Wednesday 8 May 2024 from 9am-3.30pm in Armidale. The Summit is dedicated to inspiring and empowering anyone who welcomes visitors to grow their business through ‘The Power of Storytelling’, this year’s theme. By taking customers on a journey, a story is the most powerful tool to help businesses connect with an audience.

  • An incredible line-up of speakers from hip regional and international tourism businesses will share their ideas and experiences in a relaxed, fun and engaging format.

  • The Summit is ideal for anyone welcoming visitors from accommodation, cafes and restaurants, to tour operators, event organisers, community organisations and local government departments.

  • ·Country and Outback NSW covers 25 local government areas and 45% of the state including Armidale, Brewarrina, Broken Hill, Bourke, Dubbo, Glen Innes, Inverell, Gunnedah, Liverpool Plains, Moree, Narrabri, Tamworth, Walcha and Walgett.
